Afghan Human Rights Research and Advocacy Organization AHRRAO started its partnership with Berghof Foundation in Afghanistan  on 2015. AHRRAO cooperation with Berghof Foundation started by Conducting an in-depth mixed method research on Informal Governance and Corruption Phenomenon in northern Afghanistan. Afterward, AHRRAO cooperation with Berghof Foundation (South Asia department) continued in Afghanistan in advisory fields and participation in the international conferences and programs for peace and stability in Afghanistan.

AHRRAO also uses Berghof Foundation scientific resources, scientists networks and support to work for peace and stability in Afghanistan.
